I have had a long standing passion for all things events and weddings. As I got older, I never in my dreams imagined I could turn that into a career - but here I am. Not realizing there were programs specifically for Event Management after high school, I turned to fine art. I still helped out on campus as much as possible though, with events such as film festivals, fundraisers, and fashion shows. Following this I attended Durham College for Special Event Management taking a wide variety of event and hospitality based courses. As one can imagine this came with, yes, working many events via volunteering to gain credit and experience.

It's at Durham College I discovered how exactly diverse the event world is and fell even more in love with the wedding industry as well as discovering the sports event industry.

 

While I specialize in weddings I spent plenty of time planning formal galas and banquets, fundraisers, and even worked on sporting events such as the Spartan Race. With such a diverse background I am confident I can make any of your wildest dreams come true. Where there is a will there is a way.

Unfortunately with Covid I had to hang up my wedding hat and diversify. Since the first shut down I transitioned into project management in a fast paced company to keep my planning skills on point while it felt like the world was ending. Now, with things opening up again, I am ramping back up my availability and am ready for any challenge; even if it includes finding the perfect matching masks and creative seating. Fingers crossed that's not the case.
